Klorious Kids accepts children from infancy through school age. We offer programs for Infants (6 weeks to 18 months), Toddlers (18 months to 3 years), Preschoolers (3 to 5 years), and Out of School Care for school-age children. Each age group has age-appropriate activities and curriculum designed to support their development.
Our regular operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We also offer extended care and weekend care services on request. Please contact us for more information about extended hours and weekend availability.
Our monthly fee includes full-time childcare, nutritious meals and snacks, age-appropriate educational activities, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and access to our HiMama app for daily updates and photos. Additional services like extended hours and weekend care are available at an extra cost.
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. Our menu follows Canada's Food Guide and is designed to meet the nutritional needs of growing children. We can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements when enrolling your child.
We use the HiMama app to keep parents connected with their child's daily activities. Through the app, you'll receive real-time updates, photos, meal information, nap times, and learning activities. You can also communicate directly with your child's caregivers through the app.
We maintain excellent staff-to-child ratios that meet and exceed Alberta licensing requirements. For infants, we maintain a 1:3 ratio, for toddlers 1:5, and for preschoolers 1:8. These ratios ensure each child receives individual attention and quality care.
Yes, we offer drop-in care at $75 per day, subject to availability. We primarily focus on full-time enrollment to ensure consistency for children, but we can accommodate part-time schedules when space permits. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
For infants, please bring diapers, wipes, extra clothing, bottles, formula or breastmilk, and comfort items. For toddlers and preschoolers, bring extra clothing, indoor/outdoor shoes, weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, and any comfort items. All items should be clearly labeled with your child's name.
Yes, we maintain a waitlist for families interested in enrollment. Waitlist positions are based on availability and your preferred start date. We recommend joining the waitlist early, especially for infant spots which tend to fill quickly. Contact us to be added to our waitlist.
Safety is our top priority. All our locations have security cameras, secure entry systems, and free parking. Our staff are trained in first aid and CPR, and we follow strict health and safety protocols. We conduct regular safety drills and maintain a clean, sanitized environment.
